In this new BayPay event, we want to discuss with executives facing everyday these challenges what best practice they have seen working for their companies. We will compare methods used by foreign companies starting in the UK or Europe with how domestic companies are fighting back to be able to attract the best talent. With sometimes high valuations and more capital, does the arrival of foreign companies have an impact on compensations? Does it vary from countries to countries or is it uniform all over Europe? What resources are available to analyze the market and put together the right compensation plan? Many answers will be given during this BayPay event and it will be a great opportunity to meet other executives during the networking session around a glass of wine or a beer. MODERATOR Lewis Michael Howard Payments & Cards Network Lewis runs the UK & IRE team for the Payments & Cards Network, and has been involved in Executive Search & Selection for several years. Prior to recruitment, Lewis helped build a UK Desk for a successful Amsterdam-based commodities trading house. Lewis holds a MSc in International Relations, a BSc in Political Science.  PANELIST Michael Boevink Founder at Boevink Group and European Regional Director at V2PAY Group The specialisation of Michael is having a strong strategically view with more than 15 years in new media, telecom and the payment industry. With an international vision Michael has a nose for the pearls in the industry and is strong in the field of developing and implementing these innovative marketing management projects. His personal goals are as a pragmatic generalist in the field of implementation of marketing strategies, business development and oversight of change within organisations. Lived and worked in Spain, UK, Hong Kong, South Africa and has an international focus and network.  Jordan Lawrence CEO at Payments & Cards Network Jordan founded the Payments & Cards Network in 2006 and has been involved in Payments since 2002, he has a background in Water-sports tuition and is originally from the UK. Jordan started his first webshop in 2002 and built the ecommerce platform from scratch. Having lived in several different countries including New Zealand, America, Spain & The Netherlands he has a truly global understanding of the Payments Landscape.  Ben Floyd Director at BPL Digital Ben founded BPL Digital in 2012 and has specialised in building payment based mobile apps and websites for well known brands like Budweiser and HSBC and working with large scale events like The Grand National. Before founding BPL, Ben was an equity trader at Bank of America Merrill Lynch.  Erik Diepering Director | Sales EMEA at Ethoca Erik joined Ethoca on January 1st, 2016 as the Director of EMEA Sales. An ecommerce, payments and fraud expert, he is responsible for assisting EMEA merchants and partners to reduce fraud, eliminate chargebacks and increase processing volumes through card issuer-merchant collaboration.
Based in Amsterdam, Erik has 15+ years of sales, account management and sales leadership experience and 10 years of payments experience, having held senior positions at International Card Services, AMEX and, most recently, PayPal where he ran the Benelux team.  Puneet Nagpal Executive Consultant at Card Payments A previously Director and Head of Payments in UK and in Ireland at Wordline by Atos and Vice President - FX & Card Acquiring at Barclay card. I am a payments professional with global experience in card issuing, card acquiring, payment gateways, POS terminals, mobile payments, FX multicurrency payment processing, PCI and Fraud. The experience is across all disciplines including strategy development, P&L management, product management/development, project/program management, relationship management, commercial negotiations and pricing strategy.
