DESCRIPTION

Like all industries, effective FinTech marketing strategies evolve as a company goes from start-up to establish enterprise leader. This panel brings together marketing experts from several different Bay Area FinTech companies, ranging in size from a few dozen people to a few thousand.

We'll learn how FinTech companies at different stages of growth think about KPIs, marketing channels, brand vs. direct response, team composition, and marketing technology, and more.

Frederick Crosby

Chief Revenue & Marketing Officer at Veem

Frederick Crosby has been a pioneer in digital global payments and commerce with some of the biggest names in the business. In the early years at PayPal, he opened the door to the explosive opportunity of cross-border B2C payments, unlocking new global markets for online merchants and better shopping options for consumers which became one of eBay Inc’s growth pillars for a decade. As the VP of Marketing and Business Development at Western Union, he transformed the undeveloped on-line business from a laggard to a market leader in over 30 countries in just a short number of years by defining a younger, more upscale market segment and transforming the online experience, pricing and messaging to match. Now at the Fin-Tech start-up, Veem, Frederick is the Chief Revenue and Marketing Officer, leading the charge in helping small businesses fulfill payments in the global economy. He has overseen the global acquisition teams responsible for building Veem’s customer base from a few hundred to over 100K SMBs around the world. Frederick is originally from Mountain View and while he has enjoyed travelling and working around the world, he now lives back on the Peninsula with his wife and kid.
