We are constantly working to make it easier for our customers to pay, and get paid, on any device. To that end, I’m excited to announce that we’ve fully refreshed the PayPal app for Windows Phone. Available globally today, you will now have the same seamless PayPal experience when using your Windows Phone to shop and pay as you do on Android and iOS platforms.

 

Like the other PayPal apps, we're excited to bring in-store payments and order ahead to the Windows Phone ecosystem. Millions of Windows Phone users can now easily locate and redeem offers, check-in to pay and order ahead at their favorite local businesses that accept PayPal. At participating restaurants, you can also pay at the table by using your device to see the bill and cut the wait time for paying at the end of your meal.

 

We’re already seeing strong demand for the app in the U.S., U.K. and in Germany.

 

 

 

At PayPal, we’ve had a long history of working with Microsoft to create seamless payment experiences across more devices – from the Xbox to Microsoft Excel and Windows Phone.  We’re always looking for ways to make it even easier for you to use PayPal across devices, online and in-stores, and our revamped Windows Phone app is just the latest example.
