But, we know we can be even better for our merchants. Our business partners have been telling us that they need instant access to critical sales data and insights while on the go. So we’re happy to share that we’re adding a new mobile Sales Reports feature to the PayPal Here app. With this feature, businesses gain critical insights into their transactions, how much they sell over a certain time period, how they sell (via PayPal, cash or credit card) and other important metrics. This move comes on the heels of our new business online account experience announced in June, which includes deeper transaction insights and data.
The new feature is rolling out over the next few weeks for both iOS and Android devices.
With the new PayPal Here reporting feature, you’ll be able to:
View and compare your sales by time period: you can view your sales by day, week, month, year or a custom range. Quickly gain insight into your total sales, your best selling items, or your best performing employees. . Email and print summary reports: send a summary report to anyone quickly via email, or print a report at the end of the day from your smartphone if you’re connected to a printer. Export spreadsheets of transactions: in just a few seconds, you can export and download full, complete reports of your transaction history.
Giving businesses data and valuable insights into how they sell, when, to whom, and by whom, is critically important. This feature, along with the others we’ll be rolling out, are just another example of our commitment to helping small businesses level the playing field and empowering them to compete with businesses of all sizes.
