Noble, a digital food ordering platform, has signed an agreement with FreedomPay, a company that offers PCI-validated standards for point-to-point encryption using EMV, NFC, contactless payment and tokenization, to provide a mobile ordering and payment platform to the hospitality, gaming and entertainment industries.
The partnership will provide customers with more secure mobile payment capabilities in stadiums, arenas, bars and other venues.
"The key enhancement that FreedomPay brings Noble is enterprise-level security for payments and data, which is something that is critical in this industry and a requirement for all businesses at large," Noble COO Matt Draper said via email. "Also there are venues/groups that currently use FreedomPay that can benefit from a much more seamless process to adopt Noble due to this integration and partnership."
Noble, which is working in various venues throughout eight U.S. cities, including the Boch Center's Wang Theater and Shubert Theater in Boston, the LA Music Center and Laugh Boston, plans to expand to additional theaters, stadiums and casinos in the next few months, Draper said.
