We organized a BayPay event in the past on Social Commerce. It carried a lot of promises but things have accelerated and now between Facebook Open Graph, Twitter API and new entrants in the paymnent API business, it becomes easier to propose to consumers and merchants new alternatives to the big online stores like Amazon. Like Square has allowed anyone to accept credit cards, new solutions allow anyone to sell to its social network or even anybody really.
