Complimentary Industry Working Group - LatAm-Caribbean Airlines Fraud Prevention Group

The Meeting of Latin America-Caribbean Airlines Fraud Prevention Group, conducted in English with Spanish Translation (en Inglés con Traducción al Español), will be held on Tuesday prior to the Airline & Travel Payments & CILA Conference. The Fraud Prevention Group is free-of-charge and not limited to conference participants. This closed-door meeting is open to any airline executive working in fraud prevention. Observers working directly in Fraud Prevention from other travel industry sectors are also welcome, including from travel agencies, online travel agencies, hotels, and car hire companies.

The objectives of this meeting include to:

• Extend an open invitation to join the Latin American-Caribbean Airlines Fraud Prevention Group, comprised of Airline Fraud Investigators & Managers. Membership is Free-of-Charge, but active participation is strongly encouraged. This working group is modelled after the successful European Airlines Fraud Prevention Group, founders of the global fraud database, Perseuss.
• Foster open & honest discussions on the sharing of best practices and fraud trends.
• Hear from key members of the European Airline Fraud Prevention Group to find out what they have done to reduce fraud in their region and how this may be applied in Latin America & the Caribbean.
• Equip airlines & other regional companies selling travel online with the tools & data to fight fraud!
