Download as iCal file

How can we make progress on developing SEPA Direct Debit e-mandates for consumers and merchants in the coming 18 months? The first European SEPA e-mandates day will be held on 15th of January 2013in Brussels! The objective of the e-mandates day is to bring together key stakeholders for the successful development and introduction of e-mandates for SEPA Direct Debit including banks, billers/creditors, consumers, regulators, legal/eID experts and solution providers. The SEPA migration end-date, February 1st 2014, is rapidly approaching, yet many questions and challenges still exist! Part of the conference will be held in the so called ‘unconference’ format, which provides opportunities for networking and cross-pollination. You can expect the e-mandate topic to be approached from all angles and to have your questions answered.

The beginning and the end of the program will host four plenary speakers including:

  • Vincent Jansen – Senior consultant at Innopay
  • Hans Graux - ICT Lawyer & Partner at time.lex
  • Francis de Roeck – Head of New Payment Instruments at BNP Parisbas, European Payments Council
  • A large European biller/creditor

Hans Graux of time.lex will be presenting the legal challenges with respect to establishing and validating e-mandates, particularly in the light of recent developments at the EU level.

Registration fee:

  • &euro 295,- excl VAT for billers/creditors because we really want to encourage the demand side perspective to be present at this important meeting
