The BayPay Forum provides many opportunities to lean and network with other payment professionals. After Loyalty, Couponing and Mobility in January @ Wilson Sonsini, Social Commerce in February at Intuit and Startup Funding in payment and commerce in March at Silicon Valley Bank, we are now taking a look at Mobile Payment.
We had many events on this topic from NFC to non NFC solutions taking either the acceptance side or the consumer side. For this event, we have gathered a group of speakers with different approaches to the problem of mobile payment with carrier-centric solutions like carrier billing, Trusted Service Management for NFC, the merchant side with Point of Sales and mobile wallet perspectives.
As usual, this session will be interactive to allow many questions from the audience. This event will be in the morning and breakfast will be provided.

Kolja Reiss, Managing Director at Mopay
As Managing Director for mopay Inc. in the U.S., Kolja Reiss is responsible for overseeing all aspects of corporate relations and operations for mopay in North America. Kolja has over 14 years of experience in the telecommunications industry is now focusing entirely on providing best-in-class mobile micropayment solutions to blue-chip clients worldwide.
Previously as Director of Client Operations, he headed the technical operations for MindMatics USA in New York and Los Angeles, helping to establish MindMatics LLC as the market leader in the interactive television industry. Prior to Kolja’s move to the U.S., he founded a computer and telecommunications retail company and successfully sold it after five years.
Ray Ramillosa, VP Marketing at BOKU
Ray leads marketing efforts for Boku, a leading global mobile payments company. He joined Boku from Visa where he lead major U.S. and Global marketing initiatives for Visa’s Consumer Debit and Consumer Prepaid products, including national co-marketing programs with U.S. Retailers such as McDonald’s and WalMart.
Prior to Visa, Ray worked at Charles Schwab, where he helped define and optimize the firm’s affluent client experience. He has also held marketing roles at American Express and at the brand strategy consulting firm Prophet. Ray has an MBA from the Wharton School and received his BA from Pomona College.
Erik Vlugt, VP Product Marketing at Verifone
Mr. Vlugt joined VeriFone in 2004, serving as Sr. Product Manager for Customer Facing Devices. In this capacity he defined and drove the development of the MX line of products. In 2006, Mr. Vlugt became Director of Product Management to help drive and execute the global product strategy for integrated products. In 2009, Mr. Vlugt was promoted to Vice-President. He is currently responsible for North America Product Marketing.
Mr. Vlugt regularly speaks at industry events and conferences, including NRF and NACS, on topics that include mobile payments and EMV. In 2012, he was invited to address the U.S. House of Representatives Financial Services Committee on the topic of emerging payment technologies.
Mr. Vlugt obtained his degree in Computer Science and Business in The Netherlands, and he is fluent in English and Dutch.
Alexandre Rochegude, Chairman of FLASHiZ
With more than 10 years of experience in the Financial Services Industry, Alexandre has been working as Experienced Manager for Accenture and as Director at PricewaterhouseCoopers Luxembourg, in charge of the Banking Industry. Alexandre was then part of major programs in the Banking sector those last years, mainly in Benelux and France, on several type of strategic projects (Integration Programs, CRM...).
Hans Reisgies, Co-Founder of Sequent Software
Hans is a mobile payments expert, having led business development in NFC at ViVOtech from 2005-2010. Hans is an established thought leader and a trusted advisor to banks, merchants, carriers, and other players in the NFC value chain. Known as the "NFC Guy," he is the former Chairman of the North America Marketing Task Force for the NFC Forum, the most influential trade group in NFC. Previously, Hans was the business development and sales manager for IXI Mobile and Texas Instruments.
Hans has an electrical engineering degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
