Conference Program Tracks

Concurrent sessions are assigned to one of eight program track designations.

 

Automated Clearing House (ACH)

The ACH track highlights core issues of the ACH Network and its users, encompassing traditional and emerging applications. Sessions in this track examine operational issues, rules, compliance and enforcement, risk management, fraud prevention, security, authentication and authorization, and best practices.

 

Card Solutions

The Card Solutions track explores trends and developments associated with card-based solutions for payments and payment-related business. Presenters address challenges and opportunities within the card industry from both business process and payment operations viewpoints. Sessions examine business, operational, and technological innovations related to issuing and acquiring sides of credit and debit card environments.

 

Corporate Payments Solutions

The Corporate Payments Solutions track features sessions by and for corporate practitioners, including billers, retailers, merchants, and trading partners. This track provides an opportunity for small and large business professionals to learn from others’ experiences in selecting, implementing, operating, and evaluating solutions available in the financial services industry. Sessions address the payment and treasury interests of corporate users, and range from analyzing best practices, metrics, challenges, and trends to practical experiences and application.

 

Global Focus

The Global Focus track addresses current issues and major challenges of global payments. Corporate and financial institution professionals offer insights and perspectives from the U.S. community and stakeholders from around the globe, offering an international vantage point on the issues that matter most.

 

Healthcare Opportunities

Healthcare opportunities abound with the healthcare industry’s adoption of electronic payments and remittance processing. Sessions in this track focus on emerging solutions in healthcare and explore the development and implementation of evolutionary policies and procedures. Presenters emphasize new strategies for achieving compliance and mitigating risk in sending or receiving healthcare payments and remittances, and explore the impact and opportunities healthcare payments provide.

 

Mobile Banking & Payments

The Mobile Banking and Payments track focuses on innovation across the mobile landscape for the payments industry. Sessions cover a range of topics, including mobile payments strategies, emerging technological innovations, key market trends, and revenue opportunities. Presenters explore the benefits and challenges of participating in this fertile market, offering a holistic view of the latest developments in mobile commerce for the financial services industry, and share valuable insights to help companies compete in the current marketplace.

 

Risk & Compliance

Sessions in the Risk and Compliance track examine potential risks surrounding payments mechanisms, along with the rules and laws governing compliance. Featured topics include emerging trends in fraud and fraud prevention, as well as an examination of related laws, rules, and regulations.

 

The Payments Biz

The Payments Biz track focuses on issues that matter most for financial institutions and non-bank providers that are in the business of developing and offering payment solutions — competing for market share, revenue, and positioning in the payments field. Sessions explore trends, observations, opportunities, challenges, and strategies in the market.

 

Pre-Conference Workshops

Pre-conference workshops cover a variety of electronic payments and eCommerce-related topics. These two-hour sessions give presenters ample time to incorporate interactive training techniques, providing attendees with meaningful value and practical tools such as checklists and resource papers.
