We are excited about the growing involvement of the PCI community at our Annual Community Meetings. The record attendance at both of the North America and European 2012 meetings shows the importance of the work that we do together to drive payment security forward globally. Plus, we are especially excited about the growing interest from the Asia-Pacific region in the Council and its efforts.

Due to this interest from the Asia-Pacific region, we are excited to host our first annual meeting in Kuala Lumpur in November. At the 2013 meeting, we will introduce what the Council does and outline the standards as well as the updates to PCI DSS and PA-DSS. Plus, we will discuss the latest Council initiatives and technologies from mobile to compliance to future plans.

And, due to popular demand from our North American and European meetings, we will be hosting our “PCI in Practice” case study session so you can hear directly from your peers on what their day to day challenges and successes with PCI are and how they are achieving their goals.

We will also be hosting an open forum to ensure your questions are answered directly by Council staff, so you leave with the insight, strategies and techniques to continue to ensure payment card security.
