Credit and Savings SummitFrom Tuesday 3 to Wednesday 4 June 2014
Three international conferences at one event:
Consumer credit - Mortgage lending - Savings and deposits How much ‘give and take’ does your bank have? This year, Efma is holding a new, two-day international event featuring three different conference streams and over 50 speakers. This exciting multi-level programme addresses key challenges in the consumer finance, credit and mortgage sectors. The three dedicated conference streams are: • Consumer Credit and Risk Management • Mortgage Lending • Savings and Deposits Credit and savings are high on the list of the key issues that face financial institutions at the moment. In some countries, banks have been criticised for being too slow to lend to existing and new customers. At the same time, they are having to cope with individuals and businesses that are unhappy with low interest rates on savings - whilst the banks themselves are struggling with seemingly ever-decreasing margins. Getting to grips with the issues This new event will include high-level presentations, case studies and panel discussions. There will also be numerous opportunities for delegates to interact with the panels and to network with their peers. Some of the key topics that will be covered include: • The relationship with the customer: including segmentation, advisory services, branding and trust, and cross-selling • Financing: including liquidity and funding, microfinance, responsible lending and saving, crowd-funding and crowd-saving, and car financing • Debt management: including debt collection and restructuring • Distribution: including physical and digital distribution, and distribution through third parties • Performance: including disruptive business models, process optimisation, risk management, scoring, pricing and regulation • Other issues: including insurance, SMEs and emerging markets The choice is yours! You can tailor this event so that it suits your particular interests. For each two-hour session each day, you can choose which of the three conference streams you would like to attend. On the first day, there will be a plenary session that covers all of the three main topics. Delegates will then be able to choose which streams to attend for the remainder of the two-day period. The Credit and savings summit is one of a series of Efma events that enable participants to choose from different streams. It has become a ‘hot’ topic as banks and insurance customers seek to become more customer-centric whilst also trying to maintain and hopefully even increase their profitability. The aim of each of Efma’s multi-stream events is: • To keep you informed through news and expert views • To enable you to debate and discuss issues with people who face similar challenges • To give you ideas that could transform the effectiveness of your distribution channels We look forward to welcoming you to the Efma Credit and Savings event, it promises to be an exciting and stimulating time that will both help and encourage financial institutions as they seek to face the challenges that still lie ahead.
