MVNOs Industry Summit Africa is back in 2014 to reveal facts and latest experiences about what it takes for the MVNO market on the African continent to finally flourish, while overcoming regulatory and low ARPU challenges but also going beyond that to succeed – deploying social media, mobile money, new partnership models and other innovative services.

Despite a rather idle MVNO environment in Africa, the talks of upcoming MVNO launches, new regulations and infrastructure upgrades, which would pave the way for new MVNOs in key African markets, are bubbling beneath the surface. The recent deal, creating a new MVNE in South Africa, made by Cell C, Mirage Telecoms and Comverse, is a strong sign of changes on the upside in the African MVNO market.
