This event is to drive the next level of growth with mobile in Africa, It is evident that mobile money has blurred the traditionally distinct financial and ICT legislative and regulatory frameworks. As well as address the issues affecting mobile money in the East African Community (EAC), where mobile phones are used to transfer more than half a billion dollars every month, The conference will also focus on positions of certain schools to the effect that interoperability should be mandated in East Africa countries. The school argues that some of the financial regulators in the EAC have been tempted to require providers to become interoperable.
