The RIEF network organizes a yearly doctoral meeting which offers the opportunity for a limited number of PhD candidates or young PhDs to present their papers before an audience of senior researchers in the field. One or two invited senior sessions are organized jointly with junior sessions.

The 2016 edition will be hosted by the European University Institute’s Department of Economics and the Robert Schuman Centre for Advanced Studies (Global Governance Programme) on June 13 and 14. A prize of 500 euros will be awarded to the best paper presented. To be eligible, authors and co-authors should be Phd students at the time of papers’ submission.
