PANELIST Eric LeSaint Chief Architect - Identity and Access Management at Visa As Chief Enterprise Architect - Identity and Access Management at VISA since 2012, Mr. Le Saint supports the strategy, innovation, compliance and service deployment aspects of VISA IAM program. Mr. Le Saint is also currently engaged in the standardization of advanced secure communication technology for chip cards at GlobalPlatform (OPACITY). Mr. Le Saint has given several presentations on this subject in forums such as the Real World Cryptography Workshop. Prior to VISA, Mr. Le Saint was Sr. Director of Security and Research at ActivIdentity (HID Global). He has actively contributed during 10 years in the development, standardization and adoption programs of the US Government PIV/ DoD Common Access Card with NIST, ISO and the US Department of Defense. Mr. Le Saint was co-editor with NIST of the ANSI 504 standard supporting PIV and CAC, and held the position of Systems Committee Chair at GlobalPlatform. Joy Shin Labs for Deutsche Bank Member of the Silicon Valley Deutsche Bank Labs team creating what seems like chaos in an ultra-traditional environment of a bank. The labs missions in catalyzing innovation for Deutsche Bank include technology transfer (you know, replacing legacy IT with leaner startup tech), digitizing paper processes and accelerating cultural change. Joy formerly was an investment banker for incumbent financial institutions and disruptive tech companies, and is now marrying the two together within the DB Labs. Yobie Benjamin Chief Technology Officer at Token As the former Global Chief Technology Officer of Citigroup, Yobie has quadrillions (yes, quadrillions) of dollars of payments experience. Yobie is a member of the Faster Payments Task Force, created by the Federal Reserve Bank, and a Technology Pioneer of the World Economic Forum. Yobie is also the co-founder of Avegant, inventors of the Glyph, which combines a virtual retinal display and smart headphone. MODERATOR Christopher Williams, Ph.D. Associate, Technology Development at Exponent Inc. Dr. Williams specializes in the implementation and evaluation of information assurance technology and data collection techniques. He has applied his expertise to validate standards compliance in secure messaging protocols between a smart card and host; and to study the integration of commercial cryptographic solutions into a government approved authentication infrastructure for mobile platforms. Dr. Williams is interested in the integration of commercial cryptography solutions, embedded secure hardware, and authentication infrastructure for security and privacy in fintech, internet of things, communication, and transportation.
