Following the resounding success of our 4th international conference held in Vancouver, Canada, in June 2016, with presentations from 16 different countries, we now announce plans for next year.

In 2017, the 5th annual ICCCF is moving from North America to Australia, and will be held on the Gold Coast, Queensland. Australia has been one of the key pioneers in cybercrime research, policy and practice. It is expected that the Australia Section of the IEEE will again be the technical programme sponsor. Technology is advancing so quickly that it is redefining our society. It is challenging our values, standards, and ideas. Technology brings in comfort, but at the same time, the massive electronic networks and digital data create new criminal opportunities. Are our society, regimented by-laws, ready and adequate to cope with these new challenges? Is our society getting better with the advancement of technologies?
