Sealy ISD deploys swipe cards and video cameras

Sealy Independent School District (SISD), based out of Texas, is in the process of revamping its security policy – adding a new system of card swipe access points, in addition to more than 50 new video surveillance cameras.

Sealy Independent School District (SISD), based out of Texas, is in the process of revamping its security policy – adding a new system of card swipe access points, in addition to more than 50 new video surveillance cameras.

According to The Sealy News, the district has an $182,000 project plan that includes teachers and staff to carry swipe cards to gain access to various on-campus facilities and buildings; a total of 33 doors requiring swipe card access across campuses.
