Anuj Nayar, Senior Director of Global Initiatives, PayPal
The people-powered series that we have been running this summer, in conjunction with Poptent, home to the largest community of independent filmmakers in the world, comes to an end today.
The last entry comes from UK-based DispacementBox and combines two of my favorite things: PayPal and old school video games.
It’s been great to watch these entries on how people from around the globe have interpreted the PayPal brand campaign and created videos that brought to life the idea of powering the people economy and demonstrate how you, the people, rule.
This summer’s winners have included artists from around the US, Canada and now Scarborough in the UK, a beautiful place I used to spend summer holidays at when I was a little boy. I did see a lot of space invaders there in the late 1970s and early 1980s but only in the arcades.
I hope you’ve enjoyed these videos. As always, please let me know what you think in the comments.
