Carol's Bio:
Carol Grunberg Heads Partnerships for Payments at Google. She joined the company in 2011 where she has had several leadership roles. Carol was recognized by her team as being one of the top managers at Google.
Carol’s experience ranges from startup to Fortune 500, in the US and in India. She began her payments career at Discover Card, where she was invited to join their inaugural Marketing Leadership Program. Carol held several roles at Discover Card, including managing their Cash Advance credit card portfolio, where she instituted product lines nascent to Payments.
Carol also led a Business Development team for IBM out of Bangalore, India, created a global marketing department for Indecomm Global Services, a company based in India focused on Outsourcing, Technology and Learning Solutions. Prior to Google, Carol was Vice President of Marketing at Tyfone.
Having grown up in France, Carol is fluent in French, although she’s not too partial to the food. She sits on the Board of Wnet (Women in Payments).
Carol has a bachelor’s in Communication and a Master of Business Administration degree. She resides in San Francisco, CA, where she is currently being managed by two kids under two."
