AirPlus International and corporate travel platform Pana are developing a mobile payment platform for companies to manage and pay for non-employee business travel, according to a company press release.
Pana provides a booking tool and chat platform that allows non-employees to book hotels, flights and rental cars through an app. After every booking, an AirPlus virtual payment card is created and submitted to the travel supplier for payment, according to the release.
The tools allow all major travel expenses to be centrally billed, negating the need for non-employees to lay out expenses up front or need reimbursement. Pana also has a concierge tool that offers flight upgrades and dining options and provides mobile receipt uploads for meal expenses, according to the release.
About 51,000 corporate clients use AirPlus International.
