NFC Times Exclusive Insight – U.S.-based Broadcom reported continued growth for its connectivity segment during its first quarter 2015 earnings call, but made almost no mention of NFC.

The broadband and connectivity segment, which includes Broadcom’s NFC business as well as its much larger Wi-Fi and Bluetooth businesses and other wireless technologies, recorded growth for the second consecutive quarter. But the company’s leadership emphasized Wi-Fi and broadband, mentioning NFC only once in passing during the call Tuesday.
