Tokyo-based jeweller Core Jewels is taking orders for the world’s first high-end diamond jewellery products that come equipped with NFC.

NFC-enabled items in the ‘One’ range include rings, necklaces and charms made of gold and ceramic material with diamond accents and retail at up to ¥390,000 (US$3,650), the Wall Street Journal reports.

Wearers can use their jewellery to unlock and access private data they save in cloud storage, such as pictures and video clips.
