FAEA launches Penguin NFC phones

Chinese mobile phone maker FAEA has launched the F1 Penguin, a budget Android NFC phone costing 699 Yuan (US$113), and announced the F2 Penguin, an Android 4.2 NFC handset with a 5-inch full HD display and a 13 megapixel camera.

The F1 was first revealed in May and includes a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 1.2GHz processor, a 4.5-inch 720p display and an 8MP camera. The device runs Android 4.1.

The F2 is expected to be released in China on 15 June at around 1299 Yuan (US$212) and will feature a quad-core processor as well as a second, 5MP front-facing camera. The device will run Android 4.2.1 'Jelly Bean'.
