The next event in NFC World’s free educational webinar series will be held at 15:00 BST on Thursday 21 May, when the GSMA and invited experts will explain how to deliver standardised Mifare ticketing services on NFC devices.

Free webinar

The GSMA and the Mifare4Mobile Industry Group have collaborated to develop a document detailing how to deliver interoperable and standardised ticketing and access services at scale on NFC-enabled devices, and this webinar is a chance to gain further insight into its content, including details on technical implementation considerations and information on delivering consistent user experiences.

You’ll also hear best practice recommendations and learn about preferred implementation options, and find out about the migration path from existing mobile Mifare solutions to Mifare4Mobile.

Attending Tap to travel: Delivering NFC transport ticketing services at scale will be of benefit to anyone working in transportation, mass transit, ticketing and access control, public transport, large venues and more — anyone, in fact, who would like to learn more about how future ticketing solutions can move from paper and plastic to secure solutions on mobile devices.

The webinar will be chaired by NFC World’s editor Sarah Clark and will feature contributions from the GSMA’s Paul Crutchley and Ajay Rambocus, along with Mifare4Mobile Industry Group’s Antonio Aranda and Telecom Italia’s Davide Pratone. There will be ample opportunity for questions and answers at the end.

This free to attend 45-minute workshop offers a unique opportunity to learn from domain experts with real-world knowledge of delivering NFC-based ticketing services. There’s no charge to attend and registration is quick and easy — simply click here to sign up.
