The Warsaw-based bank, operating under the mBank and MultiBank brands, is trialing an NFC-enabled attachment to the iPhone 4 and 4S for customers and employees.
NFC Times Take:
Yet another project with Wireless Fidelity’s iCarte attachment, which can NFC-enable the iPhone. The device, considered an NFC bridge technology, is used in South Korea, Turkey and Singapore, mainly in trials, with more planned. Poland, a contactless hotspot in Europe, will see rollouts with full NFC phones, likely in the first quarter of 2012.
