Razer Inc. a maker of hardware, software and e-wallets for gamers, announced a partnership that will combine its Razer zGold virtual credit services and Nexon America, which will add a new payment channel to their game titles, according to a press release.
Razer zGold will enable payments for major gaming titles, including MapleStory 2, which is the new multi-player online role playing title from Nexon America, and has reached more than one million accounts since its Oct. 10 launch.
Razer executives said they will work with Nexon to create Razor-branded in-game items to encourage players to top up. Razer zSilver loyalty points can also be redeemed for discount vouchers, exclusive products and other items.
"Through our parternship with a world leading gaming company like Nexon America, we have further cemented Razer zGold's position as a choice partner for gaming and content companies," said Min-Liang Tan, Razer CEO and co-founder, in the release.
