NFC Times Exclusive –  Besides payments, Samsung is targeting nonpayment applications, and is seeing “growing interest” in its embedded chips, Samsung Pay director Victor Kim told NFC Times.

In addition, Kim confirmed that Samsung is making the embedded chips in its new flagship smartphones, the Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge, available for banks and other issuers to use outside of Samsung Pay.
