Semafone, a provider of data security and compliance for call centers, announced the launch of a payment solution called Cardprotect Relay+, which allows businesses to accept payments through multiple channels using secure hyperlinks.
The Cardprotect Relay+ service allows payments to be made through social media, webchat, email, SMS, QR codes, ecommerce and mobile sites, and the company noted that the payments would be compliant with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard.
"Organizations in all industries are struggling to provide unified, seamless customer experiences across a host of different channels," Gary Barnett, chief executive officer of Semafone, said in a company release. "Cardprotect Relay+ makes it easy to securely transact with customers in any channel — be it voice, digital, in-person, or even via paper printed QR code — by simply sending a payment link for a fast, frictionless and secure payment process."
Business are provided real time updates to let them know if the links have been opened and payments approved, according to a spokesperson.
