NFC Times Take:

Earlier reported as an NFC trial, the bank told NFC Times that the NFC-enabled BlackBerry Bold 9900 wasn’t ready. The contactless MicroSDs used in the trial with non-NFC-enabled BlackBerry models require a range extender attached to the back covers to ensure reliable communication between the phones and readers.

* Trusted Service Manager: Defined loosely to include companies or other organizations securely distributing, provisioning and managing applications, generally over the air, on secure elements in NFC mobile phones; or licensing their platforms for this purpose.

N/A: Not available or not applicable.
