NFC Times Exclusive: Taiwan’s planned NFC joint venture is expected to name a former sales director for Hewlett-Packard Taiwan and former sales manager at IBM in Taiwan as its new CEO, NFC Times has learned.

The joint venture, being formed among five Taiwanese mobile operators and the largest contactless fare-collection service provider on the island nation, is expected to make the CEO appointment later this month.

The venture is also expected to name a technical director, who worked at HP Taiwan. This will help the venture finalize a request for proposal by the JV to hire a new trusted service manager.
