Andres Siefken Joins Mastercard as Executive Vice President of Marketing and Communications for North America

PURCHASE, N.Y. – May 11, 2017 – Mastercard today announced the appointment of Andres Siefken as the executive vice president of marketing and communications for North America. In this role, he will be responsible for developing and implementing communications and marketing strategies that reinforce the value of the company’s products and services.

Siefken’s career spans more than 20 years in the consumer packaged goods and retail industries. He most recently served as advisor and principal of The New England Consulting Group, helping executives develop and implement transformational strategies to accelerate growth.

Prior to The New England Consulting Group, Siefken served as chief marketing officer and executive vice president of Daymon Worldwide, a global leader in private brand development and retail services. During that time, he was responsible for leading the corporate branding, global marketing, analytics and innovation teams for the company’s five businesses, as well as the operation of the Galileo Global Brand Group agency.

Siefken began his career at Procter & Gamble before moving to escalating roles with Allied Domecq and Anheuser Busch InBev. He has received many awards including the PMA Reggie, Emma, Mosaic and a Golden Effie.

He currently serves on the board of directors of the Stamford Symphony Orchestra.

Siefken holds a Bachelor of Science in industrial engineering from the Universidad Jose Maria Vargas and a Master of Business Administration from Babson College. He has also attended Harvard Business School for additional executive education.
