Talking to many BayPay members who have to deal with securing access to sensitive information like bank accounts, mobile apps, card not present transactions, etc, we realized that it was more and more difficult to make sure that the person behind the transaction was the right one. From layered authentication to knowledge base security, systems are becoming very sophisticated but sometimes involving a lot of efforts from end users and consumers. In this series of fortunate events, we wanted to take a look at this side of the transactions to understand what the status of authentication is and where it is going.

Please join us for the first event of the Authentication and Identity Track, a series of panels around authentication, security and identity management as they apply to payments, commerce, banking and beyond.

This first event will allow us to set the stage and review some of the leading solutions and overall trends. We will have the opportunity to have in-depth discussions with experts from RSA, Natural Security, Iovation, HID Global and OneID. For example, we will hear how Steve Kirsch's frustration managing dozens of passwords lead him to start OneID; understand HID Global's vision of transparent and unobtrusive authentication; and learn about Iovation's concept of device reputation.

The event format will allow each panelist 10 minutes of presentation time, followed by a panel discussion and time for audience questions.
