BayPay Event: Mobile Payments - From Carrier Billing to NFC to Mobile WalletsApril 2, 2013 - Orrick - Menlo Park, CA
As Mobile Payment get more and more buzz, we wanted to organize an event mixing several companies involved in deploying mobile payment solutions. For this event, we have selected Carrier Billing because today, it is one of the categories generating real revenue. After the acquisition of Zong by PayPal in August 2011 and more recently (March 2013) the lawsuit of PayOne against Home Depot for patent infringement, this category will get a lot of coverage. The second category is NFC. With the ISIS pilot well under way (we will know more about it at RAMP and Cartes next month), inviting a company developing the tools to make it happen will bring more light on where we are. Finally, Mobile Wallets well talked about but where it is really? We invited the number one POS vendor in the US and an emerging mobile wallet provider to gives their insights on their progress. This event will have a panel format so you will be able to ask questions to the speakers. Check which companies we have invited. |
