Christine Elliott Joins Mastercard as Executive Vice President, Global Communications

christine-elliot-headshotPURCHASE, NY – January 11, 2017 – Mastercard today announced the appointment of Christine Elliott as Executive Vice President, Global Communications.

Reporting to Raja Rajamannar, the Company’s Chief Marketing and Communications officer, Christine will oversee corporate, internal, external and digital communications.

Christine comes from S&P Global, where she served as Chief Communications Officer, responsible for all communication activities for such iconic brands as J.D. Power, Standard & Poor’s Ratings Services, S&P Dow Jones Indices, Platts and S&P Global Market Intelligence. Prior to S&P, Christine spent 13 years at American Express, starting as director of corporate affairs and ending her tenure with the company as Chief Communications Officer for American Express Global Business Travel.

Christine has a strong news background, having spent six years as a producer at ABC News. She also served on the Board of Trustees for the Global Business Travel Association Foundation, received an Emmy Award in 1999 and is a graduate of University of Michigan with a BA degree in Communications and Political Science.
