Today marks an important step forward in our planned acquisition of VocaLink.

We are pleased that the Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) accepts our proposed remedies, in principle. We look forward to working with the CMA to conclude their review, and hope to finalize this process as early as possible in the spring.

We believe our acquisition of VocaLink will enhance the payments ecosystem, fostering innovation and creating more choices for people, governments and businesses to pay the way they want.
