Hello Everybody
it is my pleasure to announce the release of our unique approach on mobile payments, mobilPay. Launched on March 27, 2013 in partnership with MasterCard Europe, mobilPay is a mobile wallet that is planning to bridge the gap between on-line and mobile. The launch was a huge success and we are planning to add more services and partners before moving out from Romania, trying to reach a global market.
Here are some of the press releases.
Thank you
Antonio Eram

Netopia mobilPay, a Romanian processor of electronic payments through bank cards and SMS,
developed a smartphone application through which MasterCard card owners will
be able to pay their bills or make direct purchases using their mobile phones. The
mobilPay MasterCard Mobile application is available for free in the Google Play or
Apple's App Store applications store, and it's addressed to the approximately 1.5
million Romanian users of smartphones equipped with the Android or iOS operating
systems, according to the estimations made by Gabriel Ghita, MasterCard Europe's
business development manager for Central and Eastern Europe, a figure which is
recording an annual growth of approximately 40%. The application can be used at
this time only for the payment of Orange bills, the recharging of Orange, Vodafone
and Cosmote prepaid cards or the acquisition of discount coupons issued by FunDeal
and BestDealz partners. The partners are to be extended over the following period,
according to the officials of the two companies, solid plans regarding the payment of

Orange Romania accepts bills paid through mobile app
Wednesday 27 March 2013 | 16:48 CET | News
Orange Romania started accepting bill payments through the application mobilPay MasterCard Mobile for smartphones. The app, which was just launched by MasterCard in cooperation with loca payments processing company Netopia, can be accessed by customers who have Android or iOS powered smartphones and is available for download at no extra cost from Google Play and App Store. Once they install the app, end-users will enter personal information and set a six-digit mPIN to protect the app.
To pay a phone bill, customers initially type in their subscriber code or Orange number, and the payment is made from the account registered in the app without the need for them to subsequently reintroduce their billing details. In addition, customers are sent a notification each time a new bill is emitted and reminding notifications for missed payments. Another function of the app lets customers top-up their Orange prepaid account. The app was developed by Netopia, a local payments company whose payments unit mobilePay handles the processing of all financial transactions made through the app.
