India-based Axis Bank has integrated with the GST portal to enable its Commercial Card Corporate customers to make GST payments. Axis Bank, one of the largest private sector banks in India, today announced its successful integration with the Goods and Service Tax portal (GST), thereby allowing its Commercial Card Corporate customers to make GST payments seamlessly.
Speaking at the launch, officials from Axis Bank said they have always been working on digital initiatives in transaction banking to support their Corporate Customers. The initiative enables a secure, convenient, and seamless way to make GST payments, while enjoying the working capital optimisation benefits of their Commercial Card proposition. Paytm’s EDC devices will offer features like inventory management, invoice generation, and CRM, simplifying store operations and improving payment processing for merchant In June 2024, Axis Bank has teamed up with Mastercard to introduce the NFC Soundbox, a device designed to facilitate various payment methods such as Bharat QR, UPI, Tap & Pay, and Tap + Pin. This initiative aligns with Axis Bank's asset-light strategy, aiming to provide secure and affordable payment solutions to small merchants while ensuring PCI compliance.
The NFC Soundbox features dual confirmation with audio and visual cues in multiple languages, enhancing the transaction experience. It supports transactions over USD 60 with Tap + Pin and is equipped with 4G and Wi-Fi capabilities. Compatible with major payment networks like Visa, RuPay, and American Express, the device is positioned as an efficient and secure solution for both consumers and small merchants.
