Jason Nyilas has been appointed Executive Adviser at emerging Australian wealthtech HeirWealth as the family wealth register platform expands its technology, integrations and client base in the local market and the United Kingdom.
Founded by successful wealthtech innovator Ray Tubman, HeirWealth is a platform for managing and tracking over 40 asset classes securely, offering daily valuations of over 150,000 global financial instruments across 160 global exchange rates and provides vital input into estate planning and beneficiary asset transfers.
“We make it really easy to see everything in one place,” said Tubman. “That includes traditional investments like term deposits, shares and property, as well as alternative investments like private equity, and passion assets like fine wine, antiques and collectibles. You can even bulk upload photos from your phone and leave annotations to capture your familyʼs story and legacy, so everything is recorded in one central vault, and is preserved for future generations.”
Ray Tubman, CEO of HeirWealth said, “Mr Nyilasʼ appointment as a senior executive at HeirWealth is strategically important to our mission to harmonise the intergenerational wealth transfer and help people create timeless legacies.
“Jason is a very talented businessperson with a wealth of knowledge in financial services. His role will allow HeirWealth to expand our reach to individual families and family offices in Australia and the UK. He will also be assisting our roll out of our white-labelled solution to advisers, wealth managers, trusted accountants, lawyers and other professionals,ˮ said Mr Tubman.
Mr Nyilas has over 35 years of international experience in financial services, specialising in wealth management, pensions and digital technology. His most recent experience was as Australian Head of Retirement and Digital Innovation at abrdn, where he focused on working with other industry organisations to provide a fresh and forward-thinking set of solutions across digital, member, adviser and investment funds.
He has worked in industry and professional services firms on strategy, sales, marketing, operations, M&A and digital transformation. Previously, Mr Nyilas was IBMʼs Global Wealth Management and Pensions Leader, where he worked extensively in the US and the UK and a partner at EY in the financial services practices in Australia and overseas.
Mr Nyilas said “I’m excited to work with such a progressive fintech as HeirWealth. As the challenges with retirement and intergenerational wealth transfer become ever more complex and challenging, and as wealthy baby boomers leave the workforce, HeirWealth is the first product and service of its kind that simplifies and addresses existing problems by comprehensively tracking and managing all asset types for families whilst giving permission-based access to key professional service providers. The HeirWealth platform will solve the global problem of managing family assets under one digital roof,” he said.”
