Experienced international fintech player Tim Brooke Thom joins Nordic bank challenger Lunar as the new chairman of the Lunar Group board.
Bringing with him a wealth ofexperience from the fintech sector, Tim has a notable background, particularly in neobanking. His most recent fintech chair role was at the highly successful British bank Monzo, where he played a pivotal role during its rapid expansion phase.

This applies not only to attracting international capital and fantastic people but also in growing the new business area of Banking Services, where Lunar strengthens competition in the Nordic market by opening its payment infrastructure to international players," says Tim.
Tim began his career at Reuters but swiftly transitioned to the global banking sector, primarily with the heritage Chase Manhattan, which later became JPMorgan Chase and Co. He concluded his tenure with PWC as a partner in the advisory division, specializing in Financial Services. In 2009, he shifted his focus to board roles, spanning various industries. Currently, Tim dedicates his time to supporting sector leading tech companies in scaling and achieving their strategic goals across a diverse array of industries, ranging from fintech to worker tech.

Tim started as chairman of the Lunar Group board on April 29th and succeeded the former chairman Henning Kruse Petersen.
