Revolut has integrated Tikkie , a popular Dutch payment app, to make it available to its Netherlands-based customers. Revolut’s new feature makes it easier for its users in the Netherlands to split bills and manage payments seamlessly.
By linking their Revolut accounts with Tikkie, users can enjoy enhanced financial versatility and convenience. More payment flexibility Recognised throughout the Netherlands, the Tikkie app has around 9 million users, roughly just over 60% of the Dutch population. This stems from its simplicity and convenience for splitting bills and requesting payments.
The application provides a smarter way to enhance financial management. Customers are able to split bills and get paid instantly via messaging applications or qr codes, whether it's a group dinner or a night out, they can send a Tikkie and watch the payments roll in. With Tikkie's high market penetration in the Netherlands, it was clear to Revolut that integrating the online payment service into its application would meet customer demand.
Connecting the dutch customer’s Revolut IBAN to the Tikkie offer, helps to fully benefit from all the financial versatility that Revolut can provide as well, ensuring fast and secure transactions. Control of the finances, stress-free transactions, expenses tracking are also provided in this process. How does it work? To link a Revolut account to Tikkie, customers must follow these steps: Ensure they have the latest version of the Tikkie app installed on their device; Open the Revolut app and copy their IBAN by tapping the relevant option; Launch the Tikkie app and tap on their profile icon located in the top right corner of the screen; Navigate to the 'Accounts' section and select ‘Add account;’ Paste their IBAN into the provided field; Once linked, they can easily send Tikkie payment requests and receive payouts directly to and from their Revolut account, streamlining their financial transactions.
