Royal Air Maroc has partnered with Amadeus to advance its strategic digital transformation efforts, which are part of a comprehensive development plan. As part of the agreement, RAM will implement Amadeus Reference Experience, a platform aimed at improving online user engagement, improving customer satisfaction, and increasing loyalty.
This will enable passengers to enjoy a more streamlined digital experience, facilitating quicker check-ins and providing more accessible journey information. Additionally, the system allows passengers to request and purchase additional services through a simplified process. The partnership also includes the introduction of a new mobile application that will offer passengers a more seamless experience.
Through this app, travellers will be able to manage their flight bookings and check-ins independently. It will also provide alternative flight options in case of disruptions. During a meeting in Casablanca, officials from Royal Air Maroc highlighted the airline's ongoing strategic shift.
They noted that RAM aims to position itself as a global connector, serving customers across five continents by 2037, and they also emphasised that technology will be critical to this evolution, expressing confidence that Amadeus is well-equipped to support the airline's specific digital needs. In turn, officials from Amadeus’s Travel Unit remarked that the partnership is intended to help RAM swiftly adapt to customer demands and enhance the overall passenger experience. According to them, the new system will allow passengers to update their bookings at any time, through their preferred channels, without the need for third-party involvement.
