SaaS Alerts, a cybersecurity startup that helps managed service providers (MSPs) protect their customers’ core business SaaS applications, has received a $22 million growth investment from Insight Partners.
Founded in 2020, the Wilmington, North Carolina-based firm provides MSPs with a multi-tenant, unified, real-time platform to help them monitor and secure their customers’ usage of SaaS applications.
SaaS Alerts also offers support for monitoring popular MSP tools, delivering instant alerts so that MSPs can take immediate action against both internal and external threats, including data theft and employee mishaps.
The platform can be integrated with existing PSA consoles and supports monitoring for unusual user behavior, SaaS application usage, potential unauthorized access, and potential data leakage.
SaaS Alerts plans to invest the funding in growing its SaaS security monitoring and response platform.
“SaaS applications have become essential for businesses of every size and MSPs need the ability to better protect those applications on behalf of their customers. SaaS Alerts has pioneered SaaS security for MSPs and has a clear vision for how detecting and correlating abnormal user behavior can greatly impact the MSP industry,” said Insight Partners Principal Philine Huizing.
