US-based fintech company Skipify has announced its collaboration with Visa through the Visa Digital Commerce Program, intending to improve how consumers transact. As per the information detailed in the press release, Skipify’s partnership with Visa aims to enhance how consumers transact by utilising technologies to simplify and accelerate the payment process.

By merging Visa’s digital payments knowledge with Skipify’s digital wallet, the latter is set to provide increased convenience and security to consumers at checkout. Skipify – Visa collaboration objectives As part of the early stages of their alliance, the two companies intend to allow Skipify’s customers to link their Visa Click to Pay card with their Skipify Connected Wallet. The company’s digital wallet is embedded by merchants to support the mitigation of difficulties at checkout frequently experienced by shoppers and increase the conversion rate.

After being enabled, the direct connection allows Skipify’s identity-enabled wallet to recognise participating Visa Click to Pay cardholders on a merchant’s website, working towards surfacing available cards more conveniently. Additionally, the integration leverages advanced Visa network tokenisation technology to assist in decreasing the risk of fraud and deliver a more secure payment environment. This is set to help merchants in offering a more efficient checkout experience without increasing fraud risks. Furthermore, the participation supports Skipify in expanding its reach and delivering its payment solutions to a broader audience.

According to Skipify’s officials, the current move allows merchants to authorise more shoppers automatically, and expand revenue, while also increasing customer retention. Also, the partnership solidifies the company’s commitment to advancing commerce via innovation and collaboration. Representatives from Visa underscored that the two companies are set to enable businesses with convenient and secure ways to accept payments, providing them with the capability to enhance consumer experiences.
