The strategic deal will also introduce a secure payment experience, which combines Surfboard’s payment terminals and SoftPOS products with Cardstream’s robust online payment processing infrastructure and PayFac-as-a-Service platform. At the same time, merchants will be enabled to benefit from a unified platform supporting a wide range of payment tools, including chip and contactless card transactions, as well as online and mobile transactions.
The partnership will also allow traders to deliver loyalty programs, utilise tokenised card systems for improved customer engagement and retention, as well as run artificial intelligence (AI)-based campaigns.
