UK-based foreign exchange brand Travelex has announced the launch of its Travelex Money Card (TMC) app, aiming to provide an optimised and secure experience for customers globally. In a bid to further support its customers worldwide and replace the previous TMC app, Travelex introduced a new app that has been redesigned to include simple navigation and minimised complexity.
Within the app, customers receive full visibility over their wallet balances and latest transactions, with the features being available on the homepage. Currency transfers and TMC top-ups can be conducted more efficiently compared to the former version of the TMC app. In addition, the current TMC app is set to provide increased stability and reliability, with it being the primary channel of choice for customers.
As per the information detailed in the press release, to access the new app, existing Travelex customers need to download the latest update. According to Travelex’s officials, customers require convenient access to their travel funds and, by launching the pre-paid TMC, the company aims to allow them to securely budget, exchange, and spend travel money regardless of time or location. Travelex’s TMC app capabilities By utilising the TMC app, customers are set to be able to fully manage several aspects of their prepaid Travelex Money Card, including topping up their account with nearly 22 different currencies, checking their transaction history and balance, and freezing and unfreezing their card for instant protection.
Moreover, Travelex aims to allow its customers to view their card information, including their PIN code, via the app. Users can check live exchange rates and add their cards to Apple Pay and Google Pay wallets, with the app being equipped with face and touch ID login options. In addition to the TMC, Travelex’s app allows users to order foreign currency cash for delivery to their home or collection from one of the company’s stores in the UK or collect it from a partner store in Australia.
