UK-based foreign exchange company Travelex has launched new stores and partnerships across Europe, the Middle East, Asia-Pacific, and Brazil. In Brazil, the company opened seven new bureaux, in Rio de Janeiro, Minas Gerais, Santa Catarina, and São Paulo. In the APAC region, Travelex opened eight new stores, such as retail stores at the Penang International Airport. Furthermore, the firm extended its partnership to operate its stores across arrivals, departures, and transit areas for another three years in Hong Kong.

Travelex also opened new bureaux in Australia, such as one in Brisbane, Albany, and Nelson, collaborating with the Bank of New Zealand (BNZ) as well, in order for the latter’s money services to be referred to Travelex. In the Middle East, the firm launched a new store at Dubai International Airport (focused on serving FX and Vat Refund customers), as well as a new On the Move kiosk at Muscat Airport (opened to service clients that are using either the airport’s two premium lounges or the airport’s hotel). The new mobile store represents one of the two new expansions at the airport.

The company aims to open a pre-immigration store later this year.
