UK-based ticketing company Ventrata has expanded its collaboration with Adyen to optimise its booking platform with additional capabilities. Through this partnership, Ventrata and Adyen intend to improve the ticket-purchasing experience for visitors of iconic sites, including the Empire State Building, as the additional web widgets allow individuals to acquire tickets online by leveraging efficient payment methods, such as Google Pay and Apple Pay.

Also, the collaboration is set to provide the booking platform with real-time data processing and unified payments via Ventrata Payments. Initially, Adyen and Ventrata partnered in November 2021 to launch Ventrata Payments and simplify transactions for merchants. At that time, Ventrata utilised Adyen’s solutions to simplify how merchants accept payments, regardless of how their customers choose to pay. Through this unified commerce approach, Ventrata intended to augment payment acceptance for its merchants, whilst supporting those who did not have an established payment provider. Moreover, by introducing these new payment options, the two firms intend to deliver more choices to visitors, as well as a simplified and more convenient checkout process.

In addition, the move focuses on minimising basket abandonment rates while increasing conversion rates for online sales. The extended collaboration is set to enable Ventrata customers to benefit from Adyen’s risk management system, which utilises a global cross-industry data network to make risk decisions and safeguard consumers against fraud. Ventrata and Adyen’s plans According to Adyen’s officials, the partnership with Ventrata underlines the potential capabilities that collaborations between industry participants could bring to consumers.

Additionally, as Adyen continues to provide services that support Ventrata’s global payment operations, the firm plans to focus on delivering reliable solutions and financial technology to users worldwide. Representatives from Ventrata highlighted that the ticketing industry requires an optimised level of data processing and cybersecurity. Considering that Adyen’s tech-centric approach aligns with Ventrata’s development objectives, the current move is set to allow the latter to provide a secure multi-channel payment solution and assist the needs of customers.
