We are looking for a Principal Associate, Accounting Systems Specialist to join a cross-functional team designed to deliver against corporate initiatives for multiple business lines. Your responsibilities will be associated with the implementation of corporate initiatives that have direct impacts to Controller systems and processes. You will utilize your strong systems and accounting industry knowledge as well as Agile and project management experience. The Shared Systems and Support team manages controls, analysis and system changes/development for our general ledger, reconciliation, consolidations, and certification systems for the entire Controllers organization. The accuracy of these systems is essential to reporting correct financial information to our executives, regulators, and investors. In addition, you will have the ability to understand upstream and downstream processes that will impact these systems including line of business dependencies.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Work within and across Agile teams to design, configure, test, implement, and support both technical and business solutions for general ledger and reconciliation systems
- Gather requirements for business processes and interface designs
- Develop test cases, perform test execution, and lead test calls
- Complete system configuration builds, changes, and source to target mapping updates
- Provide support for post-implementation processes and systems during stabilization and warranty periods
- Perform process knowledge transfer with production support teams
- Develop and establish monitoring associated with system changes
- Maintain up-to-date understanding of projects which includes activities, risks and issues, assumptions and dependencies

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree or military experience

At least 3 years of Accounting experience or Financial Services industry experience

At least 2 years of Financial System experience
Preferred Qualifications:

6+ years of Accounting or Financial Services industry experience

4+ years of Financial System experience
-
2+ years of Frontier ReconPlus application experience
-
2+ years of PeopleSoft application experience
-
2+ years of Agile/Project Management experience
