OVERVIEW:

As Mastercard seeks to define a world beyond cash, we are pursuing payment opportunities leveraging non-card technologies. Mastercard’s acquisition of Vocalink adds Real-Time Payments (RTP) to our solution set, allowing us to capture new segments of cash, check and ACH payments for the network. The largest identified opportunity for Mastercard in the U.S. is in revolutionizing consumer bill pay. By combining our RTP experience within Vocalink with our existing biller network, RPPS, we can bring a solution to market that improves this outdated ecosystem for all parties involved. To win in the market, we will also leverage our strengths in brand, standards, consistency, trust and security.

To accomplish this, we must build a world-class bill pay product. We will engage key external partners in our new biller network, including the largest US Billers and bill service providers. This product integration leader will work closely with the Bill Pay Partnerships team, Global product platform, Operations & Technology and other key partners to ensure the product is integrated and deployed with external partners. We will also align with our counterparts in the regions (Sales and Account teams) to ensure the voice of the customer is being heard.

ROLE:

Provide Bill Pay Exchange (BPX) product expertise and partner with partnerships and account management teams to engage and close agreements with Banks and Processors in US market. This role is also accountable for managing successful BPX product integration with Banks & Processors in partnership with global product development, platform and Operations and Technology (O&T) teams.

• Single point of contact for Banks & Processors partnerships team to provide bill pay exchange (BPX) product expertise and SME support in client meetings.

• Accountable for successful product integration of BPX with Banks & Processors.

• Provide voice of customer & market feedback and product feature enhancements to global product development colleagues to enhance bill pay exchange product.

• Monitor and review with the relevant teams’ Service Level Agreements (SLA) to ensure compliance.

• Ensure that customer delivery teams and operation team are held accountable for the operating objectives and standards of performance

• Develop industry expertise and knowledge of competitors across the value chain of electronic bill presentment and payments, as well as online banking

• Significant payments industry and business knowledge

• Relevant experience in product management or new product development in payment industry

Education/Certification Requirements

• Note: travel required (25 – 50 %)
